We were taken aback by the beauty of the sunset as we crossed the Bay Bridge on our way back to San Francisco. In an unexpected race to capture the heart of the city before the fog overtook it, I snapped this photo from the backseat. Coit Tower rises bravely above the blanket of the enveloping fog.
