I just saw this awesomeness from City Prints Map Art on fab.com (via (62) Fab.com | AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA).
Created by the husband-and-wife design team of Tony and Katie Rodono, co-founders of City Prints Map Art, this image reps the orange, black and white of your favorite West Coast baseball squad. This three-color digital poster comes on high-quality cover paper in a crisp 12 x 12 inch square.
(unfortunately you have to actually join the site before you can see/buy the map, but it’s worth it)

Tim Lincecum’s reaction after Emmanuel Burriss, Brandon Crawford, and Brandon Belt turned an incredible double play to get Lincecum out of the fifth inning of the first game of today’s double header.
I made a GIF of the double play, but the file of GIF is too big for Tumblr’s standards.

If it doesn’t show up on your dashboard, you can check it out here. It’s definitely worth a look.

Football is more popular, basketball is more marketable, hockey is more exciting, soccer means more throughout the world. But baseball has a way of making you think about everything that ever happened to you, every conversation you ever had, every place you ever lived, everything.

Wow. Yes.

I love this quote because it’s true. Baseball is a total life metaphor.
